PlayShare Swap — Terms and Conditions

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PlayShare Swap, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Who Can Use PlayShare Swap

You must be at least 17 years old to use PlayShare Swap. The app has an open chat and helps people arrange meetings in person, so it is not intended for children. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we will close it.

What PlayShare Swap Does

PlayShare Swap helps you catalog your physical video games, mark them as in library, for share, or wishlisted, and find other users who own or are looking for the same titles. Users can offer games for trade or list them for sale. PlayShare Swap only facilitates these connections — it does not buy, sell, ship, inspect, take possession of any game, or handle any payment.

Your Account

You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.

Your Listings and Conduct

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the games, consoles, prices, and location you list. Only list physical games you own and are entitled to trade or sell. Do not list counterfeit, bootleg, or pirated copies, do not misrepresent a game's edition, region, or condition, and do not offer digital items — game accounts, download codes, or digital copies. Do not impersonate another person, harass other users, or use the app for any unlawful purpose. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Selling and Sellers

PlayShare Swap is free to use. Individuals trading or selling from their own collection are welcome, and so are shops and resellers. If you sell regularly or as a business, turn on "I sell games" in your account so other users can see it — a seller badge then appears on your profile. Hiding commercial activity, or listings that misrepresent a game, its condition, or its price, may lead to suspension. We are still shaping how selling works, so these rules may change; we will give notice in the app before they do.

Money Between Users

A game may be listed with a price, and a one-game-for-one-game trade may include a cash top-up. Any money is handled directly between the two users, by whatever method they agree on. PlayShare Swap does not process payments, hold funds, act as an escrow, verify prices, or provide refunds, buyer protection, seller protection, or compensation of any kind. Nothing is purchased inside the app. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you.

Objectionable Content and Abusive Users

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Do not post or send anything hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, discriminatory, deceptive, or illegal — in your username, your listings, or your chat messages. You can block or report any user from their profile or from a chat. We review every report and, where content or behavior breaks these Terms, we remove the content and suspend the account within 24 hours of the report. We may also review usernames, listings, and reported chats on our own initiative and remove anything that breaks these Terms.

Exchanges Between Users

PlayShare Swap connects users who wish to trade or buy physical games; the actual exchange, including any conversation, meetup, payment, shipping, and handoff, happens directly between users, typically arranged through the app's chat. We do not verify a user's identity or the games they list. PlayShare Swap is not a party to any exchange or sale and is not responsible for the condition of a game, whether an exchange is completed, or any loss, damage, or dispute arising from it. Meet in safe, public places and use your own judgment when dealing with people you don't know.

Your Content

You keep ownership of what you write — your username, your listings, and your messages. You give us permission to store, display, and transmit that content as far as the app needs it to work: showing your listings to other users, and delivering your messages to the person you are chatting with. You confirm that you have the right to post whatever you submit.

Third-Party Services

The app relies on third-party services to operate: our own PlayShare Swap server, Google Firebase for sign-in, push notifications, and chat delivery, Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In, and IGDB for game information and cover artwork. PlayShare Swap is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for these services, and your use of them is also subject to their own terms.

Intellectual Property

Game titles, artwork, logos, and trademarks referenced in the app belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. PlayShare Swap does not claim ownership of any third-party game or brand. The PlayShare Swap name, logo, and app design belong to their creator and may not be copied without permission.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, why, who processes it, how long it is kept, and how to delete your account and your data. By using PlayShare Swap you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any listing, user, or exchange will meet your expectations.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlayShare Swap and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from exchanges, meetups, or interactions between users arranged through the app.

Apple

Apple Inc. is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for PlayShare Swap or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever. Any other claim relating to the app — including product liability, a failure to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, consumer protection, and any claim that the app infringes a third party's intellectual property — is our responsibility, not Apple's. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you in the app. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from the account screen. We may suspend or terminate access for any account that violates these Terms. If you believe your account was suspended by mistake, write to devkorenev@gmail.com — the suspended-account screen prepares that email for you — and we will review it.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, and any dispute arising from them will be heard by the courts of the Republic of Armenia — unless the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim there. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
